NSW: Man charged with fatal stabbing

SYDNEY, Dec 30 AAP - A 38-year-old man has been charged with murder following the fatal
stabbing of a woman in an inner-city hotel yesterday.

The woman was stabbed in her back, chest and neck after an altercation broke out at
a Kings Cross hotel, police said.

She was treated at the scene but died a short time later in St Vincents Hospital.

The man is expected to appear in Central Local Court today.
