Fed: Brough rejects report soldiers swapped guns for drugs

CANBERRA, Jan 21 AAP - Assistant Defence Minister Mal Brough today rejected reports
Australian soldiers may have swapped guns for drugs.

The Bulletin magazine reported soldiers at the Robertson Barracks in the Northern Territory
were suspected of having links to a nationally known crime syndicate.

The Bulletin and The Northern Territory News also reported that police suspected soldiers
at the Darwin base may have given the syndicate guns in exchange for drugs.
