Australian Democrats deputy leader NATASHA STOTT DESPOJA says the issue of the party's
leadership needs to be resolved as soon as possible.

Senator STOTT DESPOJA has declared she'll challenge Senator MEG LEES if a leadership
vote is held.

She says she's not suggesting a change in leadership is needed and would prefer that
the issue wasn't raised at this stage.

But she says it needs to be resolved.
